Yoshihiro Suzuki moved from the countryside to the city of Osaka in the 1960s to work for a local company. In his free time he explores the city photographing its views and landscapes. Suzuki defines himself as an "amateur photographer" and is a representative of the large amateur photography movement born in post-war Japan and still largely unknown. This book was born from the rediscovery of the negatives more than 50 years later by the wife of Suzuki's son who developed them as contact sheets.

The images contained in this volume, far from being amateurish, open a view onto Osaka between the 60s and 70s.
