Morinaga's debut photo collection captures the Dobu River and othe Tokyo rivers in the early 60's, The river's murky surface adorned with mud, oil, and the remains of dead fish and other creatures and the riverbanks are the sole protagonists of this book. "There are no real people appearing in the photos contained here, but to me, the undercurrents of the various mysteries of our time seem to be perpetually swirling in these photos." Eugene Smith.  

This copy has a few peelings around the slipcase edges, some yellowing on the back of slipcase (see photo). The book cover has sunburn and a few small spots. Few light stains on the first and the last page.
