This book accompanied the exhibition of the same title held at the Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art from November 15, 2025, to January 18, 2026, featuring works by Dutch duo Sarah van Rij and David van der Leeuw alongside photographs by writer and photographer Yuki Shimizu, who also curated a selection of paintings and historical photographs. The book features a double cover, mirroring the exhibition's structure, allowing visitors to explore the Dutch soul on one side and the Japanese soul on the other. Text in Japanese and English.

"Chiba prefecture has a long history of cherishing its relationship with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, since the Sakura clan engaged in Dutch studies during the Edo period. This relationship was present during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games four years ago, when the prefecture hosted the Dutch Olympic team." - From the publisher's website.
