"This book is comprised of works shot in Granada, Spain, in 2024 and first exhibited the following year at the large-scale retrospective "Sakiko Nomura: Tender is the Night" (February 6–May 11, 2025) held at the Fundación MAPFRE in Madrid, Spain, as well as previously unpublished works. The exhibition garnered significant attention and is scheduled to tour Spain from March 2026 and then Europe, further expanding Sakiko Nomura's international presence. The Spanish title, "Lirio" (Lily/Iris), refers to flowers offered to the dead and symbolically connects the living and the dead. This work uses this symbolism to delicately portray the intimate memories that live between what is lost and what remains." - From publisher's website
