This portfolio contains eight prints made with collotype technique by Benrido with signature photos by Michael Kenna.

From publisher's website: "This portfolio is based on the pilgrimage of Shikoku region to visit the 88 sacred places associated with Kobo-Daishi (Kukai). It is said that if you walk the entire journey, it will take more than 40 days and cover a total distance of about 1,400 kilometers. Kenna has traveled to many sacred places in Shikoku multiple times since 2003, photographing pilgrimages, temples, rock gardens, offerings, lanterns, stone carvings of Buddha and more, with his own poetic perspective."
