"The attempt to observe and contemplate the concept of "time" through photography continues. Fragments of time, illuminated by the chain reaction of the rising sun across the globe, appear before our eyes sometimes as events, sometimes as perceptual occurrences. Time intersects countless times and in multiple layers, accumulating like sediment. Perhaps the overlapping time encompassing the past and present, and its cross-sections, can only be seen through photography. For the past few years, I have continuously shot and edited this work while staying in various locations such as Berlin, Paris, Vienna, New York, and Tokyo. Drawing inspiration for the editing process from the concept of "Two-Eyed Seeing," I connected time viewed from two different perspectives - events and phenomena - and reconstructed it as material time and a single, binocular time." - Kazumasa Harada
